XMIND
Like the tool....but don't love the tool. I like its ease of use, especially that the connecting lines just appear! However, I do have to point out that CMAP is similar and has some cool features too. The ease of use of XMIND is better for younger students, but the ability to draw the connecting lines and move them around is a cool feature of CMAP that this tool doesn't have.

Like you, I was surprised that CMAP wasn't listed. The tools are similar and maybe this is just an opportunity to introduce us to software tools new to us.
